The new on-trend Nordic and Scandi styles for your interiors this year is creating a blank canvas for you to accessorise to your hearts content – we have been in love with this style for a couple of years but in the last 12 months it has really come into its own.

Poles
This year we are seeing industrial styles everywhere. Not only do they look great with Nordic and Scandinavian styles they give your home that subtle difference to every other Nordic and Scandinavian designed house out there. Industrial black tin poles with white fabric curtains look great for this look.
Steel poles and brushed Steele also look great when you want to achieve a stylish and modern look which stays on-trend for years.
Custom made poles are also a great way of adding a unique touch to your home. Adding in jewelled ends and different colours can give your interiors the personality it needs.
Tracks
They may only be small, but they make all the difference when you put the complete picture together. Choosing the right tracks for your curtains is like adding the last piece to the jigsaw.
Our advice when choosing tracks would be to ensure you choose these last so that they blend in with the design you are going for.
We suggest matching them with the colour of the pole usually however, in some circumstances it can be that the colour of the fabric makes them stand out less. Take a look on Pinterest before choosing your tracks to see what others are doing with theirs.
Ties
Now, this is where you can get creative. As most homes are boasting natural colours this year – we suggest choosing blacks, dark greys, or pastel colours to add a subtle hint of character to your interiors.
We also suggest looking at the other accessories within your home and trying to match them in some way.
We love cotton rope ties, diamond and peal ropes and tassle tiebacks this year, in a variety of pastel colours and shades.
Hooks
Chrome hooks are really in style this year due to the ever-popular grey interiors. Choosing chrome will go with Nodric and Scandi style interiors which will compliment almost any style.
Oak hooks are also great for adding an industrial touch to your home but dependant on the type of pole you choose this may be off limits.
Tieback hooks are great also as they come in a variety of different styles meaning you can add a touch of elegance into your home using silvers, coppers and metallics or you can continue with your blank canvas and add white plain ones, so they don’t draw attention away from any key features you have within the room.
